Assigned leadership exercise
This is a group activity which will have an overall objective, and will also assign leadership objectives to each candidate sequentially. The exercise will last approx 1 hour. Candidates will be assessed during the leadership phase and as team members.
You will need to be generally mobile, but no specific level of fitness is required. Female candidates may prefer to wear trousers for the activity, but this is not essential.
Role-play
You will be given some briefing information and asked to take part in an individual discussion on a one to one basis.
Case Study
This exercise will involve some pre-work prior to attending the assessment centre. You will be given a case study containing data and background material, and your objective will be to identify improvements, submit a report and present your findings at the assessment centre.
Personality profile
As part of the assessment you will be asked to complete a questionnaire, which when analysed, will provide an insight into your preferred style in comparison with a chosen population of people.
Reasoning aptitude test
You will undertake a strictly controlled test designed to assess your ability to make decisions based on job related information.
Structured Interview
This process will be a series of concise questions, which relate to your knowledge, experience and values.
Themed exercise
This exercise will provide you with some information regarding an organisation. You will be required to gather further specific information, and identify a series of improvements, which the company can implement.
Unassigned leadership group exercise
This group exercise will be based on the manufacturing of a product whereby the group must produce to a customer schedule using materials provided.
